Originally from Manchester in the UK, Michael emigrated to Australia with his family in 2004 and has been an integral part of the Right Price Car Rentals team for over three years. He loves the dynamic nature of his role, meeting a diverse range of people, most of whom are visiting Far North Queensland on holidays and are excited for their tropical adventures.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys Taiko drumming and is passionate about his charity work with Connect With Cambodia, which he does with his wife. A proud new grandfather, he treasures his ever-growing family and finds joy in every moment with them.

Michael’s mother had many great sayings but it is the poem Desiderata by Max Ehrmann, which she displayed on a plaque on their kitchen wall that still resonates with him today.

Born and raised in Cairns, Danni is a true local who brings nearly 18 years of experience in the car industry. Her favourite part of her role is the lively banter with both customers and colleagues that keeps each day fun and engaging.

Outside of work, Danni enjoys nurturing air plants, succulents, and cacti, as well as relaxing with beach walks. She cannot live without coffee, which keeps her motivated and ready to tackle anything.

Danni’s favourite twist on a common saying is “If life gives you lemons, throw rotten mangoes.” It’s a tongue-in-cheek reminder to face challenges with humour and creativity!

I’m originally from Miles in Queensland (which is located approximately 350kms west of Brisbane) and moved to Cairns 5 years ago.

I’ve been working in the industry for 5 years and prior to this my background was in stakeholder relations and local government.

I enjoy chatting with customers about where they are from and what they plan to do whilst in Cairns or where they visited and what the highlights were.

My spare time is spent gardening or working around the house and I love spending time with my family.

My favourite saying is “Don’t be sad that it’s over, be happy that it happened”. This quote relates to just about anything in life and certainly for visitors holidaying in FNQ. Don’t be sad that you’re going home and departing this beautiful part of our fine country; be happy that they have had the opportunity to visit and start planning their next trip up here!

I am originally from the Sunshine Coast but spent most of my time in a small country town of Miles for over 30 years where I raised my family.

Have only been in Cairns for 11 months and love the tropical north. I have been in this currently position for 8 weeks. I’m really enjoying the change of employment.

I enjoy the option of being outdoors getting cars organised for customer as well as being indoors helping customers getting on their way for their time in Cairns. 

In my spare time I like to go for walks on the beach and catch up with family and friends. Gardening and reading are also two of my passions.

A favourite quote of mine is “each day is a given, not a given right”.
